Les jardins du Mas

Discover the Mas gardens, designed by Dominique Lafourcade.
The outside space of Mas Le Gaudre is made up of two distinct gardens separated by the Gaudre
water stream : the Theatre Garden and the French style Garden with its cypress avenue.
The two footbridges over the stream, enhanced by a collection of water irises and bank plants, link the Closed Garden to the Lower Garden.

Paths and walkways run through combinations of evergreen shrubs and grasses mingled with large stones repositioned to create: the Theatre, Chaos, the steles, the Belvedere table.
Mineral and vegetal mingle under the tall trees surrounding the main driveway. Hidden behind the bamboo grove is a small wooden house decorated with bamboo marquetry: the Tea House.
The Cypress avenue, lined with blue Agapanthus and Iris, is a long perspective leading to a small iron Kiosk covered with Clematis and Climbing Roses.
In front of the swimming pool, the Garden is surrounded by grey foliage plants that stretch out in front of the Orangery trellis.
